Thank you for your comment on my work.

i love using black and white, and your pics have a great play on tonal range. the newest one is pimp, i like the negative space :)

which b+w film do you use? ilford? kodak? agfa?
:iconphilipartevelde:
I guess too many people are asking about my film for me to just keep on sending personal messages...

All the photos currently here were taken with Kodak T-MAX 400. However, I've done a lot with Ilford HP5 plus which will be posted in a few weeks.

right on. t-max and ilford are what I use too. I usually stick to around 100 - 125 iso though, don't know why...

Wow! thanks for the devwatch there I think!! I just noticed that there was now two people there... but ya thanks! For just starting out I would say that you are pretty good and should be posting some good stuff in no time... so keep up the good work!

I notice you like using B&W... and I have to commend you for that. I have taken some B&W photos but I have a tough time getting the exposure right and everything... and basically taking photos in a B&W mindset. I find it tough to switch from colour to B&W easily.

What B&W film do you use though? It has been suggested to me to use Kodak TMAX 400 or 100 or whatever.

Thanks for the comment again too.

Hows' it going eh?!
:iconphilipartevelde:
There. Now that I have some photos up, I'll properly introduce myself. Started photography this year, although I've always been facinated with it. Friend of mine posts here, so I've been visiting DevArt fairly regularly for a while, browsing the photography section. I figured I'd start posting, see how my photos fare in the wild.
:iconfloatingtrem:
oh, and just so you all know, this guy's photos are great, you should all be waiting to find out what great things he is gunna upload
:iconfloatingtrem:
dude, you can email me anything (while i'm on vacation) and i can upload it for ya, i'm using the neighbor's wireless dsl
:iconphilipartevelde:
Nothing up yet. Seem to be having upload trouble, and given my dial-up connection, can't test anything. So I'll keep trying, at least until a friend of mine with DSL gets back from vacation.
